CHRISTMAS BALTIC STYLE - "behind the curtain"

Well we spent Christmas in Vilnius, Lithuania, where we expected -25C and snow and ice-fishing but instead were rewarded with -8, not much snow, no ice-fishing and ENGAGEMENTS!!! And lots of potatoes! If you are ever feeling limited with the options available to you for making potatoes interesting, visit Lithuania!

We visited the KGB museum (extremely creepy), the town of Trakai (the most gorgeous place), the old castle and the suburbs (which would have to rank close to #1 for the most depressing place to live). Here are some pics....
